On November 20, 2012 the local Oregon City VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post came to the JROTC Thanksgiving lunch to present a check for $1200.00 to the program. The program will use a portion of the money to sponsor Cadets who are not be able to afford the JROTC Class Fee that is used to purchase Headgear and a Physical Training Shirt.  The remainder of the donation will be used to help fund their shooting team. This donation was greatly appreciated.
