This past weekend, Oregon City High School’s Speech and Debate team had their districts meet at Lake Oswego High School. The team as a whole took third place, and many team members did so well they qualified for state.

Congratulations to the OCHS Student Council who earned the prestigious "National Gold Council of Excellence" award for the 4th year in arow! Last year only 2 Oregon councils were awarded this honor.

Girls Snowboarders Bring Home 1st Place From State

Snowboard team participated in Oregon State Snowboarding Championship at Mt. Bachelor on March 13-16.  The Girls Team took home the Girls 1st Place Overall Trophy!!! The trophy is called the Sato Cup and its only the 2nd time in 15 years that a TRL Girls team has won the trophy. The Girls team also brought home 1st place in Banked Slalom and second place in Slopestyle. Sierra Clasen placed 1st in Boardercross.  Congratulations OC Snowboard Team !!!!

Boys Rugby First Match is a Victory

You can mark off our first match against Prairie as a victory.  Final score OPRC 18 – Prairie 17.  Man-of-the-Match, Mason Kloer, scored a try (5 points) and drop kicked a 25 yard penalty kick (3 points) to lead Oregon Pioneer to a hard fought victory.  Also scoring tries for OPRC were Jordan Woodward on a 50+ yard run and Brandon Epsey on a 40+ yard run.  Team captain, Bailey Andersen, asserted his authority to keep Oregon Pioneer battling until the final whistle.  OPRC’s up and coming sophomores, Brad Odle and Michael Lindley, made hug

“Time Flies” is in the black box theater this weekend, showcasing the creative and funny productions created by students in drama. Adapted
from a set of plays by David Ives, Time Flies is a series of six short plays, each directed and acted by Oregon City High School students.
