Window sales are going on during both lunches.  Come buy your valentine a window in the academic hallway and write them a message.  Big windows are $5 and small windows are $3.  We will be painting after school on the 8th.

Students: Would you like to fly a plane?  If so, I have a scholarship for you. The Oregon Pilots Association has a $2000 scholarship for a student who expresses a great desire to learn to fly. If you are interested, come to Counseling.

Jade Lowery - Full ride to Corbin University to play basketball.
Grant Torgerson, Colton Aronson and Austin Smith all signed letters of intent to Southern Oregon University for football no money attached as of now.
Andy Rondema signed with Stanford to throw the Javelin.

What exactly is Word Play 3?  Word Play 3 is our theatre department's winter show and features 6 original comedies written, directed and acted by our outstanding Drama 3/4 class! Be sure to check out the display outside the theatre doors, in the commons, featuring the cast and directors from each of the original plays in Word Play 3!

Tomorrow is “Wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Day!”  Our girls and boys basketball teams are having a fundraiser Friday night during the basketball games to support loved ones battling breast cancer.  Earn your class some spirit points by wearing PINK tomorrow!

Poetry Out Loud

On Thursday, February 2, Oregon City High School will hold its fourth annual Poetry Out Loud competition after school from three to four in the Presentation Room. Poetry Out Loud, a national recitation contest, was created in 2006 to bring high school students across the nation together to share their interest in poetry. Students are not limited by race, gender or ethnicity. Students may also compete in languages other than English, including American sign language.

Mayor Honors Oregon City Faculty, Staff, Principal and Former Superintendent With "Citizens of The Year" Award

Oregon City High School Faculty, Staff, Principal Nancy Bush-Lange and former Superintendent Roger Rada were honored by Oregon City Mayor Doug Neeley as Citizens of the Year at an event held Saturday hosted by the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce.
