Tomorrow is “Wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Day!”  Our girls and boys basketball teams are having a fundraiser Friday night during the basketball games to support loved ones battling breast cancer.  Earn your class some spirit points by wearing PINK tomorrow!

Battle of the Bands signs ups are finally here!  Sign up in Student Services if you want to participate this year! Rock on!

Poetry Out Loud

On Thursday, February 2, Oregon City High School will hold its fourth annual Poetry Out Loud competition after school from three to four in the Presentation Room. Poetry Out Loud, a national recitation contest, was created in 2006 to bring high school students across the nation together to share their interest in poetry. Students are not limited by race, gender or ethnicity. Students may also compete in languages other than English, including American sign language.

Mayor Honors Oregon City Faculty, Staff, Principal and Former Superintendent With "Citizens of The Year" Award

Oregon City High School Faculty, Staff, Principal Nancy Bush-Lange and former Superintendent Roger Rada were honored by Oregon City Mayor Doug Neeley as Citizens of the Year at an event held Saturday hosted by the Oregon City Chamber of Commerce.

OCHS Racquetball Wins Medals at State Championships

Brenden Oliver, Jeff Butrico, RJ Wilks, Alycia Leagjeld and John Lindsay.

The high school state racquetball championships were held this past weekend at Cascade Athletic Club in Gresham, OR.

We have a pretty small team compared to some of the other high schools, and a lot of new players.

John Lindsay and Brenden Oliver took 3rd place in Boys Doubles overall.

John Lindsay took 3rd in boys singles overall.

Congratulations to the winner of the iPad2 raffle fundraiser Ms. Jarin Sipe.
The raffle raised almost $1500 for the Cadets that went to NYC. Thank you to all those who supported by purchasing tickets.
