WARNING – Area geo-scientists have place seismograph equipment near the athletic fields to monitor the earth vibrations generated from the mass of runners.  There is no need to be alarmed; however, if you feel the earth rumble, stay clear of building or other man-made structures.  Finally, we would like to hear your thunderous applauds as the runner’s race the course!  Help make this an “OC” moment; come support the cross country team! It will be held behind the high school, around the athletic fields at 4:30 today!  It will be the largest home cross country meet in school history!

Attention all NHS students:  Our first all-member meeting will be this Thursday, September 20th at 7am in the auditorium.  See you all there!

Are you looking for a club that does community service and looks good on college applications?  Well, Key Club is having their first meeting this Friday, September 21st at 7am in room B105.  We will talk about what Key club is, play some games and answer any questions you may have.  Come and join in all the fun that Key club has to offer!

Portland’s premiere strength and conditioning gym, Elite Performance Center, is hosting an APA sanctioned power lifting meet this Saturday at 10:00am in the upper gym.  Admission is $5 but all OCHS students with proper student ID will be admitted free.  This is an opportunity to see incredible feats of strength and will feature Oregon City resident and super bench presser, Adrian Larsen, as well as two of the world’s best power lifters, Chris Duffin and Shawn Doyle.  Proceeds for the event will benefit the OCHS Varsity Football program.

If you are interested in playing boy’s basketball this year, our open gym times have begun.  Visit www.oregoncitybasketball.com for times and details.  We look forward to an exciting season!

AND from the cafeteria:          Tuna Wrap and Coleslaw

Have a great day OC!
