Portland’s premiere strength and conditioning gym, Elite Performance Center, is hosting an APA sanctioned power lifting meet this Saturday at 10:00am in the upper gym. Admission is $5 but all OCHS students with proper student ID will be admitted free. This is an opportunity to see incredible feats of strength and will feature Oregon City resident and super bench presser, Adrian Larsen, as well as two of the world’s best power lifters, Chris Duffin and Shawn Doyle. Proceeds for the event will benefit the OCHS Varsity Football program.
The Oregon City High School Equestrian Team will hold an introductory meeting for all interested students on Tuesday, September 25 at 6:30pm in room B108. If you like horses and would like to find out more about being part of the team, please plan to attend with your parents.
If you are a former, current or future French student and are interested in going to France this summer, to Paris and the Riviera, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 25th at 6pm in C110. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Silva in C110.
We will have our “Movie on the Lawn” tomorrow at 8:00pm on the practice football field, here at OCHS. The movie is “Alice in Wonderland” and it’s FREE! Concessions will be available for purchase.
If you are interested in the scholarship for the week-long educational program in Washington DC, the application is due to counseling today by 3:00. No exceptions. Please come to counseling if you have any questions.
